**Position Information**:
Broulee Public School is a K-6 school with an enrolment of 274 (including 12% Aboriginal students) located on the lands of the walbanja people in regional south eastern NSW. Broulee Public School is a dynamic learning community, committed to empowering our students to be respectful, responsible learners. We provide an innovative and creative learning environment that encourages a high level of student engagement and achievement, within a caring and supportive school. **Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach infants and/or primary with exemplary teaching practice and the ability to balance classroom teaching and the complexities of a leadership role.
2. Evidence of effective instructional leadership and thorough understanding of assessment, curriculum, including the new syllabus, and current evidence-based research to lead literacy and numeracy programs to improve outcomes for all students.
3. Ability to build capacity among teams through reflection, development of relational trust and continual improvement of professional knowledge and practice.
4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work as a part of a collaborative and consultative leadership team and build positive relationships that value the diversity of learners and our wider community.
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
