Sydney Central Business District, Australia Lendlease Full time

Lendlease is searching for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Australian Construction business based in our Barangaroo Head Office.

The Company

In Australia, Lendlease has over $4B in external spend across the Supply Chain. The breadth and complexity of this supplier base reflects the nuances of the construction industry and the diversity of the Lendlease business portfolio. A key pillar of the Lendlease Supply Chain Strategy is to leverage our scale to get better deals, and determine how supply chain can - as a function - provide a better service to projects and the Construction business. The intent is to avoid supplier cost over-runs, extract value, reduce procurement process inefficiencies, and improve project productivity, while maintaining project responsibility for delivery.

The Opportunity

As Supply Chain Manager, you will develop new ways of interacting with our supply chain, to remove inefficiencies in the design and procurement process, ultimately delivering additional value and ongoing competitive advantage to the Lendlease business. You will undertake market testing and negotiate and maintain new supplier agreements to enable new supply chain relationships and structures, whilst capturing the value created from such modifications. Key to this role, is the need to create a clear implementation strategy and workflow, for the new supply chain structure, that will create tangible and sustainable points of difference for Lendlease. You will work with multiple stakeholders along the project value chain, to influence the utilisation of the restructured supply chain solution, prompting the business across multiple areas to understand and adopt changes to their current ways of working, to optimise our efficiency and effectiveness as a business.
