City of Parramatta have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity working as a Stores Supervisor in our Fleet & Depot team

**About the role**

As the Stores Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of Councils store along with the procurement of materials and services to meet the operational requirements if Council’s various sites and businesses.

On a daily basis you will:

- Be responsible for the management of the stores team, to perform stock inventory, system procedures and issue of store and stock items.
- Contribute to the development of budgets and monitor the performance of adopted budgets.
- Liaise and negotiate with internal stakeholders across Council to provide the agreed level of service to specific areas and to work with other areas to provide frontline services.

**About You**

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in one of the following: purchasing and supply, warehousing and logistics, procurement, or other related discipline.
- Current C Class Driver’s License
- Current LF forklift License
- Chemical Handling and awareness training (desirable)

**Experience**:

- Experience with Technology Ones
- CIA Inventory management solutions
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing and stores or relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading staff
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating stock prices with suppliers
- Local Government Experience

**What’s on offer**:

- Permanent Full-time opportunity
- Monday-Friday
- 35 hour working week.
- 6:00am
- 2:30pm.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $90,298 to $99,439 plus 11% Superannuation.
