Supervisor Stores

City of Parramatta have an exciting leadership opportunity, working as the Stores Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of Councils store along with the procurement of materials and services to meet the operational requirements of Council's various sites and businesses.

On a daily basis you will:

• Be responsible for the management of the stores team, to perform stock inventory, system procedures and issue of store and stock items.
• Contribute to the development of budgets and monitor the performance of adopted budgets.
• Liaise and negotiate with internal stakeholders across Council to provide the agreed level of service to specific areas and to work with other areas to provide frontline services.

About You

The successful candidate will have previous leadership experience working within a large organisation or within a Local Government Environment. You will have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with effective time management and organisational capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in one of the following: purchasing and supply, warehousing and logistics, procurement, or other related discipline.
• Current C Class Driver's License
• Current LF forklift License

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $90,298 to $99,439 plus 11% Superannuation.
