**About the Role**

Maternity leave coverage position now available on our 36-bed postnatal ward for an experienced Midwife.

This is a permanent night duty role offering 54 hours per fortnight, or 6 shifts a fortnight, on a 12-month fixed contract.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Minimum 3 years relevant midwifery experience.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles.
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.

**This is a permanent night duty role. Ability to work these shifts is essential to be considered.**

**Remuneration**

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from **$53.22 - $ 54.98 **+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC **Associate** Nurse Unit Manager gr1-gr3) [FTE $105,164.80 - $108,636.84]

Frances Perry House is a leading private maternity and women’s health hospital in Melbourne.

The hospital accommodates 93 beds including surgical and maternity units, Level 4 Special Care Nursery, 6 birthing suites, 4 operating theatres, a day surgery unit and urodynamics procedure room.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
