A growing Australian wholesale business in the Macarthur area currently have an opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This newly created role will be an integral member within this tight-knit team.

To be successful in the position you will be a proactive individual working alongside the Operations Manager in driving efficiency within logistics. Key responsibilities:

- Processing/raising purchase orders
- Invoice Drop Ship customers
- Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers
- Managing supplier database and product pricing
- Stock control & general administration of inventory
- Co-ordinate shipments with international suppliers and freight forwarders
- Forecasting demand for product lines
- Escalate any supplier production or delivery delays
- Preparation of shipping documentation for international customers

To be successful in the role, you must have:

- 3-5 years prior experience in logistics
- An understanding of shipping documentation and administration
- Computer literacy incl. ERP experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- The ability to work independently within a small team
- A commitment to safe and clean work environment
