**The Role**: Are you passionate about helping others navigate their recovery journey? Do you have the skills to empower individuals to take control of their lives? We're looking for a Psychosocial Recovery Coach to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis, starting with 6-8 hours per week. This role offers the potential for more hours as we continue to grow.
As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will work closely with individuals, their families, and other services to develop and implement personalised recovery plans. You'll provide coaching, build capacity, and foster resilience, all while collaborating with a broader system of supports.
**What You'll Do**:
- ** Build Trust**: Develop strong, recovery-enabling relationships with participants, grounded in hope and respect.
- ** Plan Recovery**: Collaborate with individuals to create and maintain recovery plans that align with their NDIS goals.
- ** Provide Coaching**: Empower participants through coaching to build skills, resilience, and self-direction.
- ** Coordinate Support**: Work with other services to ensure participants have the resources they need to succeed.
- ** Navigate the NDIS**: Assist participants in understanding and making the most of their NDIS plans.
**What You'll Bring**:
- ** Passion for Recovery**: A genuine commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
- ** Relevant Experience**: Whether you bring lived or learned experience, you'll have a background in mental health support. For this role, we would prefer at least Cert IV level
- ** Strong Communication**: The ability to engage, motivate, and empower participants through effective communication.
- ** Flexibility**: A willingness to start with a few hours per week, with the potential for more as we grow together.
