**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Data Centre Operations team in the UBS Sydney Data Centres on an 8-hour shift basis. Our role is to work as part of a rotating early/late shift team fulfilling Data Centre Operations tasks, supporting the DC manager and working alongside infrastructure teams maintaining a stable environment.
- We help by delivering key activities with strict compliance to policies and standards on tasks such as:

- IT hardware placement & provisioning
- inventory accuracy of all IT hardware - placement confirmation attributes/audit
- IMAC-D, Change and Incident request handling
- connectivity - patching and cabling oversight
- electronic media handling (tape/disk) - audit reconciliation, wiping, destruction
- asset recovery - re-use & eWaste
- store/stock management - receipting and accepting goods

**Your expertise**
- You have:

- good knowledge of data centre environments including mechanical & electrical, data cabling, security protocols and IT hardware
- previous experience working in complex infrastructure facilities and/or businesses
- experience with workflow & inventory tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and Microsoft Office products - Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- knowledge of common power and network cabling used in data centre environments
- experience in secure digital media handling procedures and knowledge of data protection concepts and requirements
- familiarity with ITIL or similar service frameworks
- You are:

- aware of security-related risks in large IT infrastructure environments
- willing to work five 8-hour shifts each week, with a 13:00 start, Monday to Friday
- understand the relevant health and safety requirements of working in a data centre environment
- accustomed to working with IT cabling and hardware in a hands-on environment
- familiar with risk mitigation measures and best practices within mission critical technology facilities- #LI-TC1
