**About the Role**

The Creative Producer, Pasifika is a crucial role that sits within the Programming team and works collaboratively with our First Nations Division at the AM. The role is offered on a full-time basis for up to one year. Being from Pacific Island descent, you will be required to use your prior professional and lived experience to produce a suite of programs interpreting the Australian Museum’s (AM’s) onsite exhibitions and Pasifika cultural collections.

You will be paid a competitive annual salary package range between $89,707 - $98,983 plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 10.5%) and annual leave loading. Overtime may be applicable.

**Your Knowledge & Experience**
- Experience in the cultural sector, specifically, in planning and delivering public programs and initiatives within the science, arts, and cultural sectors.
- Prior experience in working closely with Pasifika artists, community groups and other stakeholders during development, planning and presentation stages of projects.
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with Elders, community, stakeholders, and industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with a broad range of people.

**Essential Requirements**
- Pasifika (Pacific Islander) descent - is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
- Availability to work on evenings, public holidays and some weekends when required.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Clearance
