**About the role**

Primarily responsible for coordinating, development and delivery of the multimedia/interactive media solutions for the semi-permanent and temporary exhibitions and projects at the Australian Museum. They plan, source, design, produce, create and install all audio visual, multimedia & interactive electronic display equipment and software used within exhibitions, displays and programs, including some installation/de-installation of displays. Maintenance of on site and touring exhibitions is also required to sustain the public offer and ensure the visitor experience is engaging, enjoyable and safe.

**About you**

You will have:

- Experience in complex electronics design and production of multimedia/interactive installations.
- Extensive knowledge in the various audio video formats and trans-coding processes.
- High level experience with video/audio editing procedures and familiarity in current software i.e. Adobe Premier, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of recording hardware and software.
- Demonstrated experience in Multimedia/Interactive/Electronics techniques used in the development and sourcing of interactive/multimedia equipment and programs prepared for public use as well as experience in installation of equipment.

**Essential Requirements**
- Licences: Driver licence Class C or higher, Elevated Work Platform (Types: VL, SL), WH&S construction induction (White card), Accreditation Certified person. Safety Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment certificate.
