**What you’ll be doing**
- As the Warranty and Insurance Coordinator you will be accountable for the following key performance indicators in conjunction with E&M Supply Chain team.
- Warranty Management and Claims
- Insurance Claim Management

The Supply Chain team is responsible for maximising the availability of safe and reliable aeronautical parts at the lowest cost in compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory obligations. This is achieved through the strategic management of an integrated group of operationally focused supply chain teams who collectively support the Airline's needs by resolving materials availability issues impacting the fleet.**Key Responsibilities**
- Warranty Management - Collaborate with E&M, Supply Chain and other E&M departments.
- Capture Warranty claims for Airframe, Engine and Components
- Ensure Warranty claims are raised, followed up and processed in accordance with vendor concessions
- Manage attributes to part including contract life cycle management, identification of customer entitlement, performance objectives, defects, AOG event, delays and cancellations
- Manage informational campaigns to increase awareness for warranty and insurance rights and privileges within the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) organization.
- Identify and review all potential insurance claimable events.
- Liaise with VA internal insurance team to understand and familiarise with VA’s rights and privileges in relation to insurance rights.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**
- Professional qualifications within procurement & supply chain or significant experience in complex goods and services supply chain/procurement combined with strong evidence of delivery ( Operational and commercial experience within a large airline or broader aviation sector)
- Thorough understanding of the CASA and EASA airworthiness requirements
- Sound computer literacy - This role is 70/30 based computer ratio and requires an understanding of aviation MRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
- Proven experience in negotiating and influence external and internal stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- The ability to meet and hold ASIC requirements

**Highly desirable**
- Prior experience in an aerospace maintenance environment
- Qualifications with a business/commerce or law focus
