Injury Management and Prevention Coordinator

Purpose
As the Injury Management and Prevention Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Rehabilitation and Return to Work processes while providing Work Health and Safety (WHS) administration across hotels and locations within the Accor Apartments & Realty portfolio.
Reporting to the Director of Work Health and Safety - Apartments & Realty, this role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong administrative and organizational skills, preferably with experience in injury management and a solid understanding of Workers Compensation legislation.
The Role
- Full-time, fixed-term position until February 2026
- Can be based anywhere in Australia, reporting remotely to the Director of Work Health and Safety located on the Gold Coast
- Flexible working arrangements available, including work-from-home or hybrid setups, depending on location
- Occasional travel may be required
- Supporting teams across Australia and New Zealand within the Accor Apartments & Realty network
Key Responsibilities
- Complete administrative tasks related to injury management, prevention, and compliance with state legislative requirements.
- Acting as the initial point of contact for injured workers.
- Assisting with claims and rehabilitation documentation to meet both internal and external needs.
- Supporting incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Contributing to safety and engagement initiatives across the Apartments & Realty portfolio
Skills and Experience
- Previous exposure to Injury Management and prevention within a previous role
- Innate ability to form productive relationships with key stakeholders and across all levels of the organisation
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills to deliver results
- Preferable experience in a corporate or shared service delivery centre
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suites
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- WHS and legislative compliance knowledge
- An ability to work independently, with initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail and be able to deliver high quality results
