**The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

Portfolio Systems Analyst will be responsible for data and system support and configuration to facilitate optimal system, reporting, and process outcomes in line with the Finance, Strategy and Technology team objectives at Transgrid.

This role will also be responsible for setting up of project and portfolio related data management in the system along with ensuring accuracy of data delivered through them. This role supports the ad-hoc management of systems in line with Transgrid’s operating procedures, management policy and digital finance strategy.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in Information systems, Project or Portfolio Management, Financial Systems, Information Technology, Data management or in a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in a similar role focused on systems administration, project or portfolio management and implementation of system.
- Broad based skillset and capability in data management and systems administration as well as basic level familiarity with financial and/or management accounting principles and guidelines.
- Familiarity to management and implementation of major commonly known ERPs (e-g, SAP, Oracle, Ellipse etc) from commonly known key vendors in Australian market.
- Good level of understanding of project management concepts and working experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6 etc.
- Good level of understanding of systems integration environments and implication of different integration models.
- Advanced Microsoft 365/ Microsoft Office Suite (including Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and SharePoint)
- Strong Stakeholder engagement skills to iteratively develop tools & raise internal capability.
- Strong data management skills, with a proven experience designing and managing different strategies and practices in data and related services.
- Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve deadlines and desired outcomes.
- Ability to work independently, being organized and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable engagement with people at all levels to understand client requirements and achieve business outcome.
