The Home Prevention and Protection Portfolio consists of suite of consumer products across several leading Australian general insurance brands.

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will play a key role in managing portfolio profitability and the achievement of strategic goals. This will encompass portfolio monitoring activities, projecting financial outlook, using data extraction techniques to deliver actionable performance insights, and supporting implementation of key initiatives.

The role will require you to articulate performance trends to key stakeholders and collaborate with other teams to maximise customer benefits and shareholder returns; remove blockages to performance; escalate issues; gain insight to support the team in delivering exceptional customer service and look for ways to simplify processes.

The Consumer Home Portfolio Team is a high performing team which promotes diversity, flexible working arrangements and personal and career development.

**What you’ll do**
- Conduct BAU and in-depth (ad hoc) analysis of portfolio performance trends
- Extract and manipulate data to form insights and recommend strategies to improve performance outcomes
- Articulately and concisely communicate performance trends and insights to stakeholders
- Support to budget and forecasting processes
- Build positive stakeholder relationships to foster a productive environment and open communication channels
- Maintain understanding of the competitive landscape of the domestic insurance industry

**What you’ll bring**
- Well versed with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficient in data manipulation and statistical techniques
- Proficient written/verbal communication to articulate key performance trends and insights
