The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Officer - Compliance, the Regulatory Officer - Compliance Support assists with the management of compliance of health practitioners and students with restrictions on their registration and/or prohibition to practise, delivering a nationally consistent, quality, timely and risk-based Compliance service.

We are recruiting for multiple fixed term vacancies (various tenures) in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We are also recruiting for a merit pool for future vacancies that arise within the Compliance team.

**In this role you will**:

- Create the monitoring case consistent with agreed risk thresholds, current legislation, relevant principles, established policy and procedures and the delegated authority of the Board,
- Assist with the maintenance and coordination of the monitoring plan and activities.
- Receiving, assessing and assigning communications and information.
- Hold a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of registration compliance, auditing and investigative processes with the ability to operate effectively in a regulatory environment observing the need for confidentiality and privacy.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and experience in dealing with people at all levels.
- High level of attention to detail working in a high-volume administrative environment
