**The roles**

As Front of House Officer, your work will include assisting with set up and set down and ensuring that all public facing areas are kept safe, clean and tidy. You will manage basic sales transactions for tickets and merchandise, usher guests, check tickets, and direct guests to their allocated seats.

You will provide exemplary and personable customer service ensuring a professional image at the foyer/reception/box office to all patrons and visitors to the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre.

The successful applicants will be willing to work on a rotating roster including weekends and evenings.

**You will need**:

- Demonstrated commitment towards providing a high level of customer service within a reception and retail area, preferably within a creative arts environment.
- Ability to manage own time, to meet set objectives and to follow relevant policies and procedures.
- Accurate handling of money, issuing receipts, and balancing transactions combined with high attention to detail.
- Willingness to work across multiple creative arts venues if required.

**Desirable**:

- RSA Certificate
