**The role**

The Commercial Contracts Specialist is a critical role at Gippsland Water and will partner with the organisation on the development and review of commercial agreements and strategies for large contract negotiations. The incumbent will consult and negotiate with a variety of both internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure commercial and legal risks and opportunities are managed within an acceptable risk profile.

**What you’ll bring**
- Significant experience in contract negotiations and commercial dealings, or experience as an in-house lawyer or solicitor.
- Self-driven and resourceful, with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly developed communication skills and excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Well-developed relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organisation.
