The Opportunity

Based at our Knox location, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and develop your skills in all things stock related Designed to be a “next step” position, this role will provide opportunity to bring your existing knowledge and skillset and build on that further within a supportive, down to earth and hands on environment. With a high degree of autonomy and the ability to move between locations this role will keep you busy, challenged and on the move

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, and working closely with the workshop, the role of Parts Interpreter / Stock Controller is integral to keeping our vehicles on the road

**Specific duties will include**:

- Raising purchase orders for stock and parts purchases
- Ensuring adequate stock supplies are kept
- Receipt of incoming stock and parts
- Maintenance of the stock storeroom
- Coordination of periodic stock takes
- Receipt of incoming stock and parts
- All administrative duties associated with the stock control function

What you will need

First and foremost, your enthusiasm, work ethic, innovative and systems savvy nature, desire to improve processes and make this role you own will be key

In addition, the successful applicant will have, and will be looking to build the depth of their experience in:

- The use of an MRP or ERP
- Experience in a similar role in either stock/stores or parts control
- Working with a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to build strong relationships and rapport with internal customers
- Raising PO’s, receipting goods and associated administrative tasks
