**The Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Conference/Event Delegate Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our events by driving delegate attendance and engagement. As a Delegate Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our conferences and events are well-attended and provide exceptional value to our participants.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies to promote Akolade's conferences to both private and public sector organizations.
- Lead the sourcing and construction of a list of potential clients through research methods such as directories, exhibitions, association memberships, and more.
- Conduct research on the competitive landscape, identifying trends and market dynamics.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate conferences and communication channels.
- Possess the ability to negotiate prices and successfully close deals, including contract management.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of services.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
- Provide weekly sales pipeline reports to the sales management team.

**Qualifications & experience**:

- Degree in business or a related field from a reputable university.
- Demonstrates a proactive and determined approach with a strong commitment to achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
- Open-minded, collaborative, and actively contributes ideas and feedback to enhance sales processes.
- Thrives in an independent work environment and derives motivation from achieving success.
- Minimum of 3 year of solid sales experience in B2B Sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
