**About the role**
As a Plant Operator B, you will be part of the Works and Field Services team and will be responsible for operation of heavy vehicles, plant and conducting operations in the civil construction industry by performing detailed excavations, grade trimming and loading.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Operate plant and equipment within licence requirements, manufacturer’s specifications and to Council standards including Grader, Loader and Roller
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained to manufacturer’s specifications and Council standards
- Ensure continuous improvement of services provided by liaising and providing feedback to the Team Supervisor.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
- Current “HR” Licence
- A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (Including a drug and alcohol test)
- Statements of Attainment for the competencies outlined in the Responsibilities in item 3, or appropriate National Qualification Certificates covering these duties, or evidence of proficiency (equivalent knowledge and experience)
- Operate Plant and Equipment within licence requirements, manufacturer’s specifications and to Council standards for Grader, Loader and Roller.

This is a permanent full time role at grade 14 - 16 with a salary package commencing at $64,498 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
