You will be joining Western Power’s Standalone Power Systems Contract Management Team, as part of the Strategic Delivery Function at Perth CBD Office on a 12-month maximum term basis. The Stand-alone Power Systems (SPS) Area is responsible for the preparation and management of the SPS program development and deployment.

As the Contract Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation, evaluation and negotiation of contracts in order to drive efficiencies and improvements across a supplier base to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Western Power’s Standalone Power Systems Program of works.

This position also participates in contract implementation activities following award, and ongoing contract administration which defines, implements and monitors interface procedures in line with Western Power’s Contract Lifecycle Management Framework.

As a Contract Delivery Specialist, you will be focussing on the following:

- Manage, under the guidance of the relevant formal leader, the contract issues surrounding HSE, materials and performance with Suppliers in order to facilitate smooth delivery of the work program.
- Administer contracts / agreements - Administering 3rd party and outsourcing agreements in line with Western Power’s Contract Management Framework.
- Ensure that work completed is validated in accordance to the contract conditions and requirements.
- Manage the sourcing process for established Deeds, review documentation and ensure all requirements are captured and updated in the system.
- Manage workforce - Manage administration requirements to ensure the Suppliers work force is appropriately accredited to perform assigned functions.
- Provide performance monitoring - Facilitate, under the guidance of the relevant formal leader, monthly performance and delivery meetings with Suppliers on performance against the contracts.
- Ensuring the services provided are consistent with commercially competitive standards for safety, quality, service delivery, and cost and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to, and support the safety, health, environmental & community programs.
- Managing own performance and improving personal effectiveness
- Coordinate and support material and contractual requirements across other workgroups.
- Prepare and distribute Contract and Materials Management Progress reports.
- As necessary prepare the contract templates based on the contract & provide amendments to the original contract.
- Ensure all notices are issued in line with the Contractual requirements.

- Degree or equivalent in Business, Law or Commerce or relevant and demonstrated extensive industry experience of at least 8 to 10 years
