**How will I help?**

The purpose of the Manager, Governance & Monitoring role is to ensure Business Lending's risk governance through reporting is effective and aligned to frameworks and ensure senior leaders are enabled to manage their risks through quality reporting and insights. Contribute to the 'Governance & Monitoring' team by:Assisting with the coordination of Business Lending Risk Committees and forums (including Risk Management Stand-up, Financial Risk Forum, Value Chain (VC) risk forum and BL RISKCO; Supporting key activities including Disclosures, BL RAS/RAD, RMFMA, Risk culture assessments, reconciliations, etc including completing required reporting and escalation to EM Governance and Monitoring where required; Support the review of 2LoD Policy Changes and identify potential areas requiring capability uplift in BL; Monitoring BL Out-of-Appetite risks to ensure there are documented remediation/rectification plans and that actions are monitored and reported, with insights reported to BL NFR RISKCO and forums; Conduct Control-Self Assessment (CSA) testing (Design and Operational Effectiveness) as they relate to SOx controls; and Contributing to a proactive risk culture which embodies our values and code of conduct. Drive the embedment of the risk framework and policy requirements and the effective risk management of issues, incidents and controls across BL.

**What do I need?**

5-7 years' experience in a large and complex organisation with relevant risk experience including experience in operational risk and risk in change. Knowledge and experience in Governance and/or Reporting, business knowledge and operational risk and compliance frameworks including secretariat experience. Strong written & verbal communication skills. Adaptive influencing and relationship building skills across peers including strong negotiation and influencing skills. Continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm to act as a change agent in supporting governance and monitoring activities and drive an uplift in risk culture
