In the role of Truth and Events Officer, you will provide logístical, administrative and project coordination support to the Engagement and Community Partnerships Team. The role will involve the coordination of day-to-day operations, and high quality administrative and project support to ensure delivery of objectives within key timeframes.
**This is a fixed-term role until 31 December 2024** with the possibility of extension**.** Yoorrook Justice Commission will run until June 2025 after being granted a 12-month extension by the Victorian government on 04 April 2023. The final six months of Yoorrook's operations will aim to ensure that the stories and truths shared by First Peoples are not only recorded but understood by all Victorians.
**ABOUT YOU**
You will provide high-level administrative and logístical support to the Engagement and Community Partnerships Team through various means including, but not limited to, supported submissions intake, coordination of travel arrangements; event logistics, screening and attending to a broad range of enquiries and requests, including matters of a confidential or sensitive nature.
You will also be providing project and administrative support to the team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of activities across Yoorrook and maintain accurate records in line with Yoorrook information management systems and processes.
You will ensure your work is culturally informed, upholds the highest standards and adheres to Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles.
