**Employment type - Temporary Full Time Role up to 30 June 2024**

**Salary - ($134,411 pa - $155,445 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

The Manager, Women’s Safety provides a range of high-level executive and project support services to the inaugural NSW Women’s Safety Commissioner, including providing strategic advice, managing communications and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the Commissioner’s strategic and operational objectives.

You will lead a small integrated team providing a range of high-level executive support services to the NSW Women’s Safety Commissioner. This includes providing strategic advice and coordinating communications and engagement.

**What we do**

The inaugural NSW Women’s Safety Commissioner commenced in February 2023. The Commissioner provides leadership and oversight of whole of NSW government policy and programs on domestic, family and sexual violence, and provides advice and support on cross-sector and whole of government women’s safety policy development and law reform.

**What we’re looking for**

Alongside your strong management and leadership experience, you will need:

- Substantial administrative experience within an executive context.
- Experience in anticipating and addressing contentious issues and providing accurate advice on complex matters, often within tight timeframes, given the need to collect and assimilate information from a variety of different sources, whilst maintaining confidentiality and exercising diplomacy.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, and a demonstrated ability to determine long-term planning, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work independently, show initiative and problem solve across a broad range of issues and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and high-level consultation and negotiation skills.
