To be successful in this role you will have experience in assisting with the development and continual improvement of training & assessment resources and you would have strong experience in facilitating plant / equipment training & assessment.

We would be seeking an applicant that has currency or strong experience in Civil Construction (or similar environment) operating, training and assessing on some or all of the following plant / equipment:

- Roller
- Scraper
- Wheeled Front End Loader
- Excavator
- Articulated Haul Truck
- Backhoe / Loader
- Dozer
- Grader
- Rigid Haul Truck
- Skid Steer Loader
- Telescopic Materials Handler
- Tip Truck
- Tractor
- Water Vehicle
- Self-Propelled Compactor
- Small Plant & Equipment.

This role will be required to partner with a diverse range of stakeholders both internal and external to ensure the Group’s Training & Assessment needs are met, and to enhance the standard of technical skill and capability of Daracon Plant / Equipment Operators.

To support this Daracon Group offers frequent and collaborative technical relationships, training and technical upskilling to ensure that the Trainer & Assessors individual skills, capabilities are current, accurate and validated.

In addition to the Plant / Equipment experience; other experience and skillsets we are looking for are:
**Preferred**
- Qualified in Plant Operations _(e.g. RII - Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package Certificate III or equivalent) _
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (current) or equivalent or higher

**Essential**:

- Current industry experience _(could be across Civil Construction, Mobile Plant, Mining, Rail and/or Quarries)_;
- Understanding of training operations and knowledge of the VET sector;
- Ability to actively contribute as a team member;
- Ability to build strong internal / external relationships;
- A professional and cooperative approach to competing demands and priorities;
- Good writing and computer skills;
- Strong and effective oral communication skills;
- A high level of motivation and passion for training & assessment.
- Maintain own professional development and currency of qualifications, competency and skill.

This role will join our supportive and motivated HSEQT Division on a permanent basis, reporting to the Training Lead.
