We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic and fun UX Designer to join our UX Chapter in endeavourX. endeavourX brings the best of data, design and tech using Agile and Design Thinking mindset and ways of working, to create easy and inspiring experiences for our customers and our team members.

**About The Opportunity**:
As a UX Designer you will be embedded in 1 of 3 squads, all working collaboratively to deliver a brand new loyalty app for our Hotels business - ALH. These cross-functional squads in our Personalisation and Loyalty Tribe, are directly responsible for the Hotels Loyalty product mission and are unique in that all 3 squads will be working on the 1 product (app).

Being 1 of 3 UX Designers in this product mission, you and your squad will collaboratively and with purpose with the other 2 squads, contribute to a wide range of initiatives from smaller, feature driven continuous improvement, through to more strategic Discovery led initiatives.

**The product roadmap is aggressive and very exciting, so you will need to**:

- Work closely with Senior Designers to learn and support the strategic direction of the product
- Make decisions based on the information available at the time - this will not always be research or insights, but perhaps internal, team knowledge and experience driving a lean UX approach
- Know how a product or service will function for users and the emotions or behaviours the end-to-end experience will evoke in the person using it.
- Work with others in your squad and Design practice to create consistent user experiences in line with brand and strategic direction, ensuring that design outputs deliver quality product and service experiences for our people, our team members and our customers.
- You will collaborate and connect with your team, bringing them on a journey by creating narratives and artefacts that bring an experience to life in a way that delivers optimal customer and business outcomes today, and into the future.

**What You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Strategic mindset and Systems Thinking - ability to understand and connect to the wider Endeavour Group ecosystem
- Effective stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, tailoring each communication and design artefacts to meet audience needs, including Executive Leaders.
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritise the right tasks.
- Facilitate and nurture a culture of continuous improvement and growth, using design thinking and agile mindset.
- Self-led, proactive and independent in your ways of working, continuously building your craft and practice in UX through formal learning and practice.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills applied in reports, copy, and presentations.

**A day in the life of a UX Designer**:

- Foster the spirit of collaboration, creating safe spaces and environments for people to equally listen, learn, contribute and participate.
- Provide design direction by tackling problems that range from concise and well-defined, to the expansive and ambiguous.
- Comfortable working in Agile Delivery model; participating in all squad rituals and contributing to sprint cadence (2 weeks).
- Work with cross-functional partners and domain experts to identify and prioritise knowledge gaps across an experience.
- Support squad and Business Partners to introduce design thinking and agile mindset in our ways of working
- Use a range of co-design and collaboration techniques and resources to inspire engagement, online and in person.
- Translate research learnings into practical and feasible deliverables; through the lens of user needs, business impact and engineering feasibility.
- Ensure proposed solutions will benefit customers and our business, balancing innovation and pragmatism.
