Evoenergy is seeking to fill an Electrical Fitter Site Lead position in the Zone Substations Team on an ongoing basis.

**About the Opportunity**

As an Electrical Fitter Site Lead you will be required to perform a range of duties involving the construction, maintenance and repair of Evoenergy’s zone substation equipment including:

- Installation and maintenance of 132kV and 11kV switchgear, power transformers, current transformers (CTs) and voltage transformers (VTs).
- Installation of secondary systems including protection relays, SCADA remote terminal units (RTUs) and optical fibre-based Ethernet control system communications networks.

In addition, as a Site Lead you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing material, plant and equipment utilisation whilst remaining within budget.
- Accurately and effectively perform scoping tasks as required.
- Supervise on-site works of contractors as required.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate work activities.
- Lead and mentor field teams and assist Program Delivery Leads to manage projects effectively.

We are looking for a dedicated team player who displays the required skills and role models Evoenergy’s culture principles. You will need to take initiative, be organised and be able to communicate, build relationships and lead by example.

Our field staff enjoy a 9-day fortnight and receive competitive remuneration plus allowances and overtime. You may also be required to participate in the on-call roster for out-of-hours fault response.

**Requirements**:

- A Certificate III Systems Electrician.
- An outstanding attitude and willingness to work with a broad range of people across the business and our most importantly, our customers.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead individuals and teams in technical areas.
- Demonstrable work experience in field on construction and/or maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
- A current General Construction Induction Card (White Card) and ACT drivers’ licence (or equivalent).
