**About this role**:
A national architectural group with global outreach is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate to lead their Gold Coast studio.

With a minimum of 10-15 years of industry experience, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional design and leading projects across various sectors, including Retail, Mixed Use, Commercial, and Residential.

You'll have knowledge and experience across all project stages including client briefing, concept design, design development, documentation, consultant coordination, construction and delivery.

You'll have a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering project teams of varying scale and complexity.

**Key responsibilities**
- Contribute to concept, design development and documentation to gain alignment with stakeholders
- Work closely with clients, consultants and contractors
- Undertake project reviews: problem solve, budget, and produce quality design
- Production & coordination of drawing packages
- Lead design across Retail, Mixed Use, Commercial, and Residential sectors.
- Contribute to financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.

**Skills and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture
- Current registration preferred
- Operating at a level similar to 15+ years' experience
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Revit valued but not essential
- Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of the local market, including building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Existing local network in the Gold Coast and business development skills
- Experience in leading stakeholder workshops valued
- Excellent project and team management skills
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and inspire project teams.
- Ability to build rapport, present with impact and respectfully influence outcomes
