**About the role**

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this key role is responsible for management of the payroll team and take accountability for delivering the end to end payroll for approximately 900 people utilizing Employment Hero.

**Responsibilities**
- Payroll function coordination
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
- Reporting and compliance: producing month end and year end reports and accurate General Ledger Reports, Payroll Reports, Costing Reports, Manual Pay Transaction as required
- Help build a culture of continuous improvement through effective development and coaching of team members

**About you**
- 5 years or more of experience with payroll and financial systems
- Sound knowledge of payroll process, policies and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel - particularly in relation to Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS.
- Experience in the provision of award and enterprise agreement interpretation
- Proven ability to coach, develop and share knowledge with others
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- Self-starter with initiative to work independently and as party of a team, and a commitment to to working respectfully with individuals
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to act with tact and discretion, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong conceptual skills including the ability for analysis and problem solving.
- Capacity to manage finances including risk minimization, compliance and reporting requirements.
