We’re currently looking for a Staff Specialist to join our Primary Care team within the Sydney Metropolitan area. This position will provide specialist assessment and ongoing care of patients with acute and chronic general health issues in correctional campuses administered by Justice Health &Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) in accordance with best evidence based practice and organisational policies.

- Eligible for or current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or other recognised specialty as provided for in the State Award.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in the management of patients with complex acute and chronic primary health issues.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. This includes demonstrated ability to build a strong and positive work culture within a team.
