**Overview**:
Reporting to the General Counsel, the Head of Risk is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's risk management framework. This individual works closely with senior leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization. The Head of Risk is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and risk appetite. They manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and internal partners, and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors on risk management activities and initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the risk management framework
- Develop and foster a best practice compliance culture with effective risk management policies and procedures
- Oversee all risk reporting to the board
- Collaborate with business leaders on performing risk evaluations and capturing lessons learned
- Coach and mentor internal stakeholders to undertake the role of risk in decision-making.
- Review of the company's risk management framework and related policies and procedures

**How can you be successful in this role?**
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience working with an ASX listed company, including an understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and reputational risk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for improvement
- Proven track record of leading successful risk management initiatives and driving results
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
