Western Health are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse leader for this rewarding and dynamic nursing opportunity in the Day Procedure Unit (DPU). This Associate Nurse Unit Manager vacancy is a permanent part-time (48 hours per fortnight) position.

The DPU is a fast-paced environment which is responsible for admitting all elective surgical and endoscopy patients at Footscray Hospital. The Unit is supported by two procedure rooms which undertake a range of day medical, endoscopy, respiratory and same cardiology procedures. This position encompasses both morning and afternoon shifts.

**To be Successful in this Role, you must**:

- Possess current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrate effective management skills appropriate to the Associate Nurse Unit Manager role
- Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess well-highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution strategies
- Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Be innovative, resourceful and adaptable to change
