- From $99,739 to $108,139 per annum (HEW Level 7), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

THE ROLE

The Content & Creative team within Group Marketing is responsible for creating compelling stories tailored for each audience group to create engaging communication with impact to maximise engagement. The team develops creative approaches to communication ensuring a consistent aligned visual identity for the Macquarie University brand.

The team is seeking an experienced and dynamic Visual Assets Specialist to develop, produce and co-ordinate photographic and video content to build the University’s visual brand identity and support marketing campaigns and initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Brand, Content and Creative, you will:

- Provide expert advice on the use of photographic and video content in multi-channel marketing campaigns and collateral;
- Lead and execute the conceptualising, planning, capturing and end-to-end production management of quality photographic images and videos;
- Work in collaboration with clients and stakeholders to initiate, develop and produce photographic and video initiatives;
- Manage the relationships with preferred videographers and photographers and ensure compliance with the preferred supplier accreditation KPIs;
- Manage the administration, metadata entry, tagging, archiving, user access privileges, copyright law of photographic and video assets;
- Shoot, edit, and retouch photographic assets, ensuring adherence to set safety in line with the relevant national guidelines;
- Provide support with monitoring and tracking expenditure on visual assets;
- Provide updates on photography and videography projects to the manager and the wider team.

About You
- Extensive experience in end-to-end photographic and video production, and a creative mindset to tell unique and captivating stories through photographic and video content.
- Excellent editing skills and proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Good understanding of social media and the various formats to produce and optimize video and photographic content for social media platforms.
- An eye for detail and ability to execute exceptional photoshoots and videography sessions.
- Excellent time management, communications and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with the team, clients, and stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
