One of the more unique roles within our Transaction Banking business, your role as an Associate Director within the Financial Institutions Insurance Transaction Banking Sales team will be responsible for managing, growing and developing a client portfolio consisting of primary and secondary banking customer relationships, across the Cash and Trade disciplines.

The objective of the role is to drive positive advocacy and generate buying decisions from clients within this portfolio by working with key senior stakeholders to leverage the business strategy and delivering on execution.

As this role provides you with the ability to upskill yourself in both Cash and Trade, you will also have the opportunity to contribute your skillsets to the wider Transaction Banking business as well as benefit from exposure by working in close co-ordination with colleagues in other geographies of the World.

**This role is accountable for**:
Managing a portfolio of clients who utilise the bank’s Transaction banking product set
Deliver an exceptional customer experience via accountability for origination, ongoing account management as well as working closely with our Operations colleagues to ensure a well-coordinated end to end service proposition
Financial management of portfolio (drive revenue and profitability) across both Cash and Trade disciplines
Execute and build pipeline;
Planning and measuring customer revenue, growth, volume and targets;
Developing customer pricing to ensure sound, profitable growth;
Active customer calling program;
Preparing and delivering Transaction Banking strategic reviews to drive insights and opportunities as well as developing customer account plans;
Enhance and actively drive initiatives across both Cash and Trade (Surety, Performance Bonds, Reg LC’s) verticals in conjunction with the FI/INSTO relationship, Product, Operations, Legal and TB teams;

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven banking experience in Transaction Banking Sales and / or relationship management (preferably covering FI client segment with knowledge of the Insurance market, regulations, and requirements);
Previous experience in legal and banking facility documentation, guarantees and a good understanding of Working Capital Management (at both financial and operational levels);
Strong research and analytical skills to achieve deep customer understanding to develop customer specific service propositions.
Solid strategic thinker and business acumen to enable discussions with senior customer representatives regarding ANZ initiated deals; Demonstrated ability to multi-task;
Ability to identify future needs of clients through key questioning techniques;
Excellent professional presence and exceptional presentation skills;
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written in order to manage client expectations.
