Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
**Your Opportunity**:
- Undertake clinical and non-clinical nursing roles within the scope of AIN practice under the direct supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse
- Demonstrate a positive contribution to teamwork and take responsibility for effective and timely communication with colleagues, patients and their carers
- Demonstrate timely and efficient control and distribution of stock whilst ensuring accuracy, financial integrity and stability
- Participate in Quality and Safety activities as delegated
- Assist in clinical care of patients, (including pressure area relief) as directed by Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with all members of the inter-disciplinary team to maintain optimal environmental organisation.
- The PICU AIN position will be required to work a rotating roster including both night duty shifts, day shifts, weekend shifts and public holidays, however this position will predominantly be night duty shifts and other shifts rostered outside normal business hours.
