- This role is based in Sydney, Australia (2 office days, 3 work from home)**Description of Role**

**The role as a Marketing Specialist will specialise within the Diabetes Division/Brands across Australia and New Zealand. With the role you will**:

- **Specialise in the management and execution of marketing campaign projects**:

- **Work with the Snr Marketing Manager, diabetes brand manager and marketing services team to successfully complete and coordinate all diabetes marketing projects on time and within budget**:

- **Help coordinate and execute the existing diabetes marketing plan across Australia and New Zealand**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Snr Marketing Manager, diabetes brand manager, marketing services team and regional marketing teams to execute the diabetes marketing plan including launch planning, marketing mix optimisation and campaign readiness
- Support and execute specific activities to help drive market share
- Ensure key messaging established flows through across all diabetes channels and advertising opportunities are optimised
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help drive and push through projects within the marketing plan
- Ensure key projects and suppliers have adequate approvals from finance and legal and we have set up appropriate MSA, PA’s or other agreements as required
- Understand all processes, customer journeys and software used across the diabetes division
- Ensure the strategy around each project is understood and executed as part of the marketing plan to the right target audience
- Update the Snr Marketing Manager as required on moving priorities for the Marketing Services Team
- Work alongside the Brand Manager to support Marketing Specialists in the Marketing Services Team to receive adequate briefs, communication, and information regarding the marketing plan so they can execute and meet deadlines
- Work on the development and execution of marketing activities across the diabetes division to meet project objectives
- Develop, edit and produce artwork for promotional and communication material to resonate with marketing initiatives
- Liaise with advertising companies to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters and other materials as required
- Assist in creating educational material, sales presentations, proposals, correspondence, and reports as required by the Marketing Department
- Assist with reporting on marketing and sales metrics
- Assist in all aspects of campaigns/projects and including tracking, content creation or optimisations as required to fulfil the marketing plan alongside the diabetes Brand Manager and Marketing Services Team
- Assist events team in managing national conferences and local events for all divisions and provide assistance as required with the following:

- Attend trade shows, local consumer and healthcare professional events to increase market knowledge
- Assist in the creation of invites, social media posts, website updates or any other event-related posts/updates as required by events/marketing team

Compliance

Ensure that all marketing collateral is compliant and that every detail about the product is correct and meets the requirements of the company and regulatory bodies in the industry. This includes but is not limited to:

- AMSL/NZMS, global or supplier branding guidelines
- Industry codes of conduct: MTAA, MTANZ, ASA etc.
- Relevant laws and legislation: TGA, MedSafe, ACC, Spam acts etc.

Understand and follow the marketing approval process through medical, legal and regulatory reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
- Attention to detail with accuracy and consistency is critical
- An interest in medical science or willingness to learn about the medical devices industry
- Experience in creating designs and artwork
- Effective communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
- Ability to multi-task, meet multiple deadlines and project management skills
- Self-motivated with creative thinking
- Proactive
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent ability to handle new technology/software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media, inbound marketing, updating websites, video/photo editing
- Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop etc.)
- CRM or Marketing software experience e.g. HubSpot or Marketing Cloud
