**About the role**:
This position is for an Atlassian Specialist who can undertake operational, service delivery and administration tasks for Atlassian products. An Atlassian Specialist can manage incidents raised by end-users of Atlassian products, finding resolutions and effectively communicating with stakeholders.

Ideally the Specialist would have experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Crowd.

The Specialist should be able to understand business requirements from end users and tailor Jira and Confluence administration to stakeholder requirements.

In addition, the Atlassian Specialist has a background in running Atlassian products in On-Premises environments. The specialist should have a basic familiarity with Linux based server administration and running Atlassian products in Linux environments.

**Duties**:

- Provide expertise and technical knowledge in specialist area across a range of programs or activities for the agency.
- Provide accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
- Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes and agency guidelines and regulations.
- Contribute to managing change and uncertainty in the workplace. Propose and facilitate innovation initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies and to change in workplace practices.

**Required experience/skills**:

- Proficiency in Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Crowd. Ability to perform operational, service delivery, and administration tasks related to these products
- Ability to effectively manage incidents raised by end-users of Atlassian products. Problem-solving skills in finding resolutions and communication skills in handling stakeholders during incident resolution
- Capability to understand and adapt to business requirements from end-users. Tailoring Jira and Confluence administration to meet specific stakeholder requirements, ensuring alignment between Atlassian tools and business needs. Background in running Atlassian products in On-Premises environments. Familiarity with Linux-based server administration and ability to manage and operate Atlassian products in Linux environments.
