This is a key role within the Consumer and Business Banking (CBB) Technology leadership team sitting in the CIO Office. As a Junior Business Manager, you will help shape the change management and communication approach for the CBB Technology strategy and strategic projects, working with the Business Manager and the CIO Leadership team to identify strategic approaches to address issues that should be prioritised, define problems and the change strategy work required to solve them.

You will support the critical decision making of the senior executives and create compelling cases for change by developing change and communication plans.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Business Manager, Heads of Technology, Senior Managers and Consultants across the team depending on business need.
- Build peer relationships within the team, but also outside of the team more broadly across the Lines of Business.
- Deliver structured written documents for senior management (including Group ET & Board papers)
- Manage regular communication with Heads to provide updates and escalate appropriately.
- Remain current on key developments relating to banking competitors, particularly with respect to their strategic direction and execution capability.

**What do I need?**
- A strong understanding of Technology
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy or relevant business roles
- Strong in articulating and communicating strategy and strategic plans.
- Experience in preparing communication documents.
- Ability to manage to deadlines and deliver on time with high quality work.
- Exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Strategic thinking skills, defined as the ability to creatively approach and structure complex, potentially unfamiliar and ambiguous issues.
