ConsultANZ is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join a well-established specialist piling company in the civil construction industry. This specialized engineering contractor work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Australia, and work with clients such as Lendlease, CPB, John Holland, BMD, and Hutchinson Builders.

To be successful as their Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will need to
**_have at least 2 years’ experience as a Technician_**, be motivated, organized, and display excellent communication skills

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Role**
- Select tools and equipment.
- Assemble and installs new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems.
- Estimate material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
- Perform and directs field and laboratory tests.
- Collect and analyses data, carries out complex computations and prepares diagrams.
- Organize and supervises inspection and maintenance of machines and plant.
- Ensure that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions

**Skills and experience needed**
- To be successful as their Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will need to have at least 2 years’ experience as a Technician, be motivated, organized, and display excellent communication skills
