**ABOUT THE ROLE**

TAFE NSW are seeking a temporary full time Teacher of Automotive Electrical Technology to work from the Hornsby Campus. In the role you will be responsible for a range of activities, which supports learners via face-to-face delivery. Your cohort of students will range from pre-trade students, apprentices, including school-based apprentices and some post-trade students. Offering you the opportunity to develop strong connections and leverage off your strong industry connections to make a real life-long impact.

As a professional educator, you will be supported within your team to provide variety and flexibility in your teaching practice. You will undertake assessments and evaluate learning outcomes whilst contributing to decision making under great leadership that will ultimately affect the learning environment.

The role is a Part-Time Casual and offers fantastic professional development opportunities and salary $86.83 per hour, Teaching Duties.

To help students thrive in a rapidly shifting workforce, it is important that you have strong digital skills.

To be successful in this role you must:

- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the TAE40110 qualification with the required additional upgrade units, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in Automotive industry relevant to your qualifications, part of which has been gained in the last three (3) years. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
