At Qantas, we are seeking an experienced Shooter/Producer/Editor, who will be responsible for concepting, producing, shooting, and editing video content to deliver business value through creative excellence. This role will be in charge of creating premium and engaging video content that best communicates key brand and partner messaging. As the Shooter/Producer/Editor, they will be required to create video content for a variety of purposes including marketing campaigns, social media, broadcast news, and internal / external communications.

To be successful in this role, the Shooter/Producer/Editor will have a strong strategic and commercial focus, as well as significant post-production skills.

You’ll have
- 4 - 5+ years’ of full-time experience in an agency, studio, or in-house environment producing video content (or equivalent freelance experience)
- Strong theoretical understanding of the principles of film making and the language of the medium
- Ability to interrogate briefs, and develop solution-based creative concepts that address key problems raised, all while staying on brand, within scope of budget and timeframe, and with an engaging narrative for our target audience
- Ability to develop and pitch creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders
- End-to-end practical knowledge of production process with a strong focus on post-production
- Demonstrated experience in editing, colour grading, and motion design, along with directing, camera operation, lighting, and sound recording/design
- Basic 3D animation/VFX experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to despatch content using provided specifications
- Proficiency with Canon cinema cameras
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Blackmagic Davinci Resolve
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at various levels of the organisation
- Ability to function effectively under pressure, manage various tasks concurrently, and adhere to timelines, with a strong attention to detail
