Document Controller

Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is proud to be announced as the preferred organisation to deliver the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland history. Design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of a manufacturing facility on Fraser Coast of Queensland, design and build of a train depot, and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain - a true legacy to be created for Queensland.

We are now seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team where you will be working on a high-profile dynamic project, you will also be contributing to the development and continuous improvement of document control processes and systems.

This role will be based on site in Ormeau.

**About the role**:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join the team. Reporting to the Document Controls Manager, you will be responsible for document control within vested area on the project.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a Document Control role with a track record of working on large and complex projects.
- Implement document control workflows, collate, issue and receive documents in accordance with project requirements (process, formats, timing).
- Ensure timely and quality document submissions through proactive management of the process and high attention to detail.
- Implement and maintain an efficient project document control register, database, and information system.
- Understanding of contract administration principles and project management fundamentals ideally in infrastructure delivery environment is highly desirable.
- Good communicator, able to liaise with all areas of the business, with the client, and with subcontractor teams.
- Proficient with InEight (Teambinder) environment will be highly regarded
