We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Commercial Support Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
The Commercial Support Officer will be responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships and will be required to identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Support the Commercial Manager develop and manage Export Project contracts and plans.
- Provide commercial advice and support to contract negotiations.
- Support the review and evaluation of non-technical contract documents, including Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Data Items, plans and contractor proposals.
- Support the Commercial Manager to Develop and/or provide input into reports, briefs and Government submissions.
- Collate, analyse, and report on commercial data on a routine and ad hoc basis.
- Support the Commercial Manager to Develop and manage Contract Change Proposals (CCP) in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support to the Commercial Manager to Monitor contractor compliance with contractual, legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks and ensure Commonwealth contact obligations are understood and adhered to.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to identify and manage contract interdependencies and cross contract impacts.
**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Current NV1 security clearance and Australian Citizenship.
- Eligible to access US Export Controlled (ITAR) information.
- Advanced diploma or relevant industry experience in an equivalent role.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve role responsibilities and deliverables.
- Proficient with the MS suite of software programs (Work, Excel, Visio)
- Experience working in a Defence commercial role.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant commercial contracting legislations, policies and frameworks.
- Experience working within a complex project.
- Experience working with US Export Controlled (ITAR) information.
