**Current opportunity**

We are currently searching for an experienced Application/Database Administrator which is also internally known as a Technical Administrator. The key aspect of the role is to maintain the SQL server environments, SQL development and support the firm’s core business systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage and provide support to business systems with associated databases, including practice management, resource management, CRM and financial systems.
- Assist in maintaining and improving SQL environment operational efficiency.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly SQL database maintenance tasks.
- Writing SQL Queries and contributing to ETL, data and reporting initiatives.
- Manage and maintain integrations between business systems.
- Develop positive and effective working relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients, partners & vendors.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

You will bring with you:

- Experience within an accounting/professional services environment supporting practice management, resource management, CRM and financial systems.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or newer including SQL Server High-Availability technology.
- Proficient with TSQL - including stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server stack including Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Fundamental knowledge of the ITIL framework and or/other IT Service Management methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of database concepts and technologies and database management best practices, including the implementation and management of highly-available database environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Power BI/DAX or equivalent data visualisation tools.
- Ability to design, develop, customise and automate business reports and queries based on business requirements.
