**Your Role**

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Intermediated Compliance Specialist within the Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) Division.

In this role, you’ll provide independent and specialist advice, monitor and challenge in respect of compliance risk, development and implement fit for purpose Regulatory and Compliance plans and controls to ensure IAG complies with the regulatory requirements and the intent of the law.

You’ll provide support to the IIA Divisional risk teams with extensive compliance knowledge, expertise and advice where required.

This is a permanent role, we welcome applicants from **anywhere in Australia.**

**About You**
- Solid experience in a Risk and/or Compliance function within financial services
- Must have strong compliance advisory experience
- Broad understanding of core industry legislation
- Highly organised, with high attention to detail and forward planning
- Able to work autonomously across a variety of duties
- Developed communication and influencing attributes / skills
- Proven ability to observe regulatory change and translate into an internal environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
