**The company**: Appreciating Payroll has partnered with a high-profile, Australian-based commercial services group that is steadily expanding its operations across Europe and Asia-Pac region. Due to an increasing client portfolio and a recently implemented Payroll system, a newly created Payroll Systems Specialist position is now available.

**The role**: This is a rare and UNIQUE opportunity for a gun Senior Payroll Officer looking to make the step away from BAU processing and into a hybrid role covering both Payroll & Systems/ Projects. Sitting within the Payroll team, you will report directly to the National Payroll Manager and take on the remit of Payroll systems expert, answering all internal payroll system queries along with acting as backup/ support to the Payroll Team Leader when required. You will ALSO gain exposure to the European payroll system rollout that's currently underway. As Sytems SME, full external & internal training will be provided to set you up for success

Key duties:

- Demonstrate a strong customer service focus, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and possess the capability and expertise to achieve high-quality service
- Use positive and comprehensive communication skills to respond to queries both in writing and on Teams.
- Review service desk queries and identify areas for process improvement, user training, or business communication,
- Assess best practice ideas, solutions, and opportunities and make recommendations for system enhancement. Continually learn and build expertise across the Dayforce platform.
- Develop and document Payroll standard operating procedures
- Support the maintenance of the organization structure in Dayforce.
- Develop and complete business, HR, and payroll data reporting.
- Develop and gain approval to system change scopes. Support system changes and upgrades
- Undertake effective and documented system testing and change management
- Manage error troubleshooting and system improvement requests
- Deliver end-user training to support embedding of systems into daily operations
- Support the global rollout of Dayforce in Europe.
- Work with the People Team globally to manage the prioritization and execution of Dayforce fixes

This is a permanent role paying
**circa $95,000 - $105,000 + Super**, with hybrid working options. Due to the nature of the European system rollout, you may need to occasionally start later (10 or 11 am) and finish later (6 or 7 pm), to maximise crossover with your European colleagues.
