We are on the lookout for a standout SharePoint/Desktop Support Administrator to join a dynamic workplace that is doing some fantastic things for the community and greater environment.
Working a hybrid model, 1-2 days in the office will give you true flexibility to have a much sought after work-life balance.
This opportunity is open to Australian Citizen and Permanent Resident Holders.
**About the Role**
Reporting into the Head of Workplace Technology, you'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team that collaborates and coordinates technology initiatives across the organization. As a SharePoint/Desktop Support Specialist you will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving hardware and software issues, delivering prompt technical assistance to end-users, and maintaining the efficient operation of desktop systems. In addition to traditional desktop support duties, you will oversee the administration of our SharePoint environment, ensuring its smooth functioning and alignment with organisational objectives.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively through in-person, phone, and remote channels.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to integrate desktop systems seamlessly into the broader network infrastructure, facilitating efficient communication and data sharing.
- Administer SharePoint environments, managing user permissions, customizing workflows, and overseeing content management to support effective collaboration and document sharing.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing desktop support and SharePoint administration capabilities to meet evolving organizational needs.
**About You**
- Possess a tertiary qualification in IT or a business-related field, with focused studies in Information Technology.
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of Microsoft technologies, encompassing Windows Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), and SQL Server.
- Experienced in utilizing call management systems to efficiently address and resolve technical issues.
- Showcase strong proficiency with Microsoft-based operating systems, specifically Windows 10/11.
- Skilled in troubleshooting all facets of SharePoint and SharePoint Online, with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 products.
- Have a proven track record of resolving hardware and peripheral issues effectively.
- Familiarity with Active Directory environments, including user account management and group policies.
- Have strong communication skills.
