About the role
Contribute to patient care by undertaking advanced clinical support tasks under the direct or indirect supervision of a pharmacist.

- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant pharmacy legislation, and knowledge of pharmacy services including inventory management, product storage, imprest services.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the process of dispensing prescriptions, practical skills in assisting with medicine preparation and supply, and knowledge of the operation of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
- Demonstrated practical skills and understanding of the theory of aseptic and non-aseptic preparation of pharmaceutical products, or an ability to acquire such skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and to work as a team member.
- Knowledge of or an ability to acquire knowledge of relevant procedures and policies, regulations and standards, including those relating to contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, and anti-discrimination.
