**About the role**

As Leading Hand you will be part of the Roads and Drainage team and responsible for routine maintenance of the city’s road network.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Deliver general maintenance on sealed roads
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment
- Provide leadership, assist in the development of the team work plan and work as part of a team

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current “C” Class driver's licence
- Current “MR” licence would be advantageous
- Experience in civil construction or a likeminded field
- Experience in working in a faced paced work environment
- A community focus and ability to be agile, resilient and passionate
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

This position is required to undertake a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing).

**About the benefits**

This is a fixed term full time position for 3 months at LGE Level 4 with a salary commencing at $64,571 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
