**The Opportunity**

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control Supervisor to serve the site’s manufacturing capability by providing leadership and direction to the production teams and ensuring that all operations meet or exceed all quality certifications, regulatory and customer requirements.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee the Quality Management System for the Haines Hunter business, driving improved product and process consistency and resulting in improved customer satisfaction and business productivity. You will lead the Quality Assurance function and provide direct technical support for quality control, production troubleshooting, complaint investigations, process improvements and aspects of safety/sustainability.

You will have demonstrated capability in developing and maintaining successful quality frameworks and proven experience in delivering business outcomes by promoting a culture that identifies and reports potential product risks and manages critical control points. You will have the ability in developing Quality Management systems and processes.

You will provide leadership and direction to the factory teams and your co-workers through:

- Demonstrated safety focus
- Strong team ethic with the ability to build collaborative relationships
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to a changing manufacturing environment
- Compliance with internal audits
- Developing and implementing quality systems such as:

- Regular Quality Meetings
- Logging Process Changes
- SOP's
- Quality Improvement
in line with quality targets and driving actions to reduce the cost of rework and improve quality outcomes
- Monitor, investigate and report on consumer complaints to support the development of preventative measures
- Must have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be solution-driven
- Must be able to adapt their style depending on the audience.

Haines Hunter is an Australian leading manufacturer of trailer able fiberglass boats that extends over 60 years. It is a Victorian Manufacturer Hall of fame inductee, we are currently expanding our dealer network and experiencing unprecedented demand.

The factory and head office is located in Derrimut, Victoria.

**What you will bring and develop**

You are a focused, ambitious, and energetic professional with extensive experience working in a medium-paced manufacturing environment. Your consultative approach, ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, and collaborative work style will see you succeed in this role.

Other key skills and experience include:

- Prior experience in a Quality Management is desired but not essential as training will be provided.
- Supervising and people management is desired but not essential
- Strong analytical, decision making and root cause analysis skills
- Collaborative and pragmatic working style, inclusive in making decisions
- Experience of working on MS Office Suite is highly regarded

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
